Privacy
This notice explains what this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site is run by the organisers of the Entertainment Analytics Conference. Questions about it go to david@entertainmentanalytics.org.
Invitation requests
When you send the request form on the home page, we store what you enter: your first name, your last name if you give it, your email address, your message, and whether you are interested in the UK or US editions. We also store the date of the request and a one-way hash of your IP address, which helps us spot a flood of automated requests. The invitation database keeps only that hash, never the address itself.
We use these details to consider your request and to contact you about the conference. Requests are stored in a database run by Turso. The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps its own server logs of visits, including IP addresses.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and tells Google which pages you visit. It is on unless you opt out with Decline on the banner that appears on your first visit. Declining stops Google Analytics using cookies straight away, and stops it loading at all on your later visits. Advertising features are switched off.
Your choice is remembered in this browser. To change it later, clear this site's stored data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you by emailing david@entertainmentanalytics.org.
